Islet of Biri

For your next trip, consider the Islet of Biri. Get amazed with the natural rock formations that are breathtaking and to do things that are exciting.

Natural Rock Formation Sightseeing and Photo Shooting.  Be amazed with the wonders of nature, the astonishing rock formation of Biri Island. A 45-minute boat ride from the town of Lavezares and just a 5-minute ride on a motorcycle from the town proper, these magnificent towering rock formations sculpted naturally trough time by the ferocious waves of the Pacific Ocean and tidal currents of the San Bernardino Channel.

Surfing and Diving. Biri Island is blessed with various marine species that serve as havens for diving enthusiasts. Furthermore, the rolling and heightened waves of the island attract surf sailors to go surfing especially during the BER months.

Historical Landmark Visit. Familiar sights from the history of the island are Biri Lagoon, Refuge of Biri Church and the gigantic and towering image of St. Vincent the Patron Saint of Biri Island. These are all man made yet full of stories from the past. The church’s well-crafted and meticulously sculpted altar, depicts the Hispanic culture of a typical place of worship. Its grandeur and spectacular craftsmanship become one of the tourist attractions in town.
