What Fun Games to Play Online for Mommy’s Me Time

Hello there moms, how was your day?

I hope you have an amazing day and can spend the so-called “me time” or time for yourself. Yes, we do need this. It’s not a mistake to spend half of an hour or more quiet time, doing something that relaxes our body and mind.

Did you know that I have so much “me time” to do on my bucket list? I already shared some of it in my previous post, Mommy “Me Time” Ideas for Relaxation, where one on the list is playing online games. So now, I will be sharing a website of fun games to play online and the three games I play most to get rid of stress and relax.

Fun Games to Play Online for Mommy’s Me Time

On top of the games is Candy House that is like Candy Crush. To play this game, you have to swap two items to match three or more colors in a vertical column or horizontal row. Earn power-up by matching longer pieces. I love the background music of this game.

Treasure of Atlantis is on the second list. Why do I play this game? Well, it’s because I love the fictional story of this place. Same with the Candy House game, you have to swap two items to match three or more of the same items, but the goal of this online game is to get each part of a picture to the bottom by removing the pieces that block underneath.

Let us practice how good our vocabulary is, by playing Letter Scramble, which is on my top 3 list of fun games to play online. To play this game, you have to use a keyboard to type out words using letters from the playing field, then click enter when you are spelling the word correctly. Make sure that the words you create are valid English-language.

There you have it. All these games are on Solitaire.org where you can play for free. Try to play one of the games on your mommy me time because spending time alone is good and beneficial. It relaxes and recharges our body and mind, leading to becoming inspired and more productive.

Stay tuned for my next Mommy Me Time update is K-Dramas to watch.

What is your mommy me-time activity? Feel free to share your list in the comment box.

Mommy “Me Time” Ideas for Relaxation

There is no such thing as a perfect mother, but there are always ways to be a good one. We, mothers, are humans too who have good days, bad days, overwhelming days, too tired days, mistakes days, and me time day.

Yes, “ME TIME” is mentioned because everybody needs a break, even a little time, including mothers. It is important for us moms because our life is more hectic now especially, those who are doing all at once – career, family, household, friendship, business, and other activities inside and outside the home. Me time is a time when you can do something for yourself that interests you, makes you happy and fulfilled aside from mothering. On top of all, it helps release stress.

Since Mother’s Day celebration is near, let us talk about ourselves. How we spend our so-called Mommy “Me Time”. Here’s a list of Mommy’s “Me Time” ideas for relaxation. These are mine and I know some of you can relate to the things I do for myself that make me relax and alone even for a couple of hours.

Summer Business Ideas For Extra Income

Need extra cash? No problem! It’s time to get creative with how you can earn additional income this summer, whether you’re a full-time student or employee. Here are a few business ideas:

1. Be an online tutor.

Since online classes are the norm right now, parents might not have the time to help their kids with homework as they’re busy working from home. You can offer your services as an online tutor to assist friends’ or relatives’ kids struggling to adapt to this new normal.

2. Be a proofreader.

Online communication is so important right now with everything happening either on a mobile device or a computer. If you have a good grasp of technology and have a good command of the English language (or Filipino) then this job may be for you. You can read through articles and assignments, and then make changes when you spot misspellings or grammatical errors the same way you might be doing for the assignment of your kids. If this is something you can do, let your friends and relatives know that you are free to edit their written work.

3. Sell pre-loved items!

You might have gained a bit of weight due to the lockdown or realized you have old things that are rarely used. Turn to online platforms like Shopee, Lazada, or Carousell to declutter your old things and make money at the same time! Just make sure what you’re selling is still usable and in good working condition.

How to Help Your Toddler Focus and Have Fun in School

Months to count, my youngest will be entering a new chapter of her life. Starting a preschool and formal school year is a big step for her. Now that we aren’t sure yet if the face-to-face class will be implemented for the coming school year, E-learning is for sure a bit challenging, especially for beginners and in the preschool stage. Destruction is just around the house, like toys, gadgets where to play and watch her favorite shows online and TV.

My little girl is such an opposite of my eldest son in so many ways. Letting her have focus and stay in one place is absolutely a struggle for me as a mom. So in preparation for my little one’s new experience and to ensure a smooth transition, I came up with few simple strategies to keep her on focus and have fun, either homeschool or face-to-face class.
