Things to Do During the Summer in Toronto

Are you looking for places to relax and have fun this summer?

If it’s a YES, then read on for I will be sharing things to do during summer in Toronto.

Why Toronto?

I love close encounters with wonders of nature, art, and history and I find this is a great one-stop destination.

Toronto is the largest city in Canada, home to arts, cultures, and tourist attractions. A city that is one of the most liveable in the world because of so many factors such as healthcare, education, and many to mention. Aside from attractions, making money through investing in Real Estate in Toronto is worthy for investors who have richly profited from doing so.

Now for the things to do in Toronto, the first stop of our tour is the museum and aquarium

A visit to a museum and aquarium is a great way to spend time with friends and family. It will make you all feel good, smarter, and gain additional knowledge.

Where to go?

Royal Ontario Museum

Known for its noticeable exterior design, Royal Ontario Museum is the largest one with forty galleries and more than six million items, covering natural history, historical exhibits, and arts. Meteorites, dinosaurs, cultural exhibits, and artwork attract millions of visitors each year coming from different countries.

A trip to Toronto is incomplete without exploring Royal Ontario’s natural world and humankind’s cultural past.

Bata Shoe Museum

Visit Bata Shoe Museum to discover and be amazed by Toronto’s shoe museum. Located near the northwest of the University of Toronto’s St George campus, this museum has a stunning collection of more than 13,000 shoes and related historical artifacts. Shoe lovers, art enthusiasts, and even historians can explore this museum for its footwear collections that reveal stories of cultures back in about 4,500 years and the latest.

Bata Shoe Museum is such an interesting place not just by its displays and collections but also by the unique architectural design of the buildings that stand out in Toronto.

After exploring the museum, the next destination is to have a close encounter with the wonders of the water world. If I will be given a chance to travel for free out of the country, this would be my very first destination.

Ripley’s Aquarium

Summer in Toronto is surely memorable and amazing to have a close encounter with about 20,000 aquatic animals in Ripley’s Aquarium. This must-see aquarium is located in the downtown area of Toronto that is visited by tourists and locals of all ages. It features the longest underwater viewing tunnel with over 5.7 million liters of water and over 100 interactive water bodies such as sharks, scarlet cleaner shrimp, horseshoe crabs, stingrays, and many more.

Wow, isn’t it amazing and fun to be in all mentioned attractions in Toronto?

Wait there’s more . . .

Now, that your eyes are full of the attractions, it will surely be more fun, memorable, and complete by filling your tummy with these must-try foods across the city. On my bucket list foods to share is the city’s signature bite such as Peameal Bacon Sandwich at St. Lawrence Market, Baja Fish Tacos at Seven Lives, Smoked Meat Sandwich, and Rainbow Macarons of Nadege Patisserie. These are just a few of many great things to eat in Toronto that you shouldn’t miss during your summer trip.
