A baby is on the way for musician Ben Harper and his wife Jaclyn Matfus! The couple is expecting their first baby in June, according to a statement released by their rep. This will be Ben’s fifth child, as he has two children with his first wife, Joanna, and two children with his ex, actress Laura Dern. This will be the first child for Jaclyn, 33. Jaclyn and Ben are very private about their relationship, but we do know that the couple tied the knot on New Years Day in 2015!
This is not the first pregnancy for the 47 year old singer, so we know that after four kiddos, he definitely knows what he is doing! He’s very adamant about teaching his kiddos about music from a very early age, and has talked before about introducing his kids to great music in utero. He previously said that he let his kids listen to a ton of different music when they were still in the womb, and always had different songs playing for them after they were born. That is pretty great, and we are sure that it has given his kids a real love of music later in life. We can’t wait to meet this adorable little one when he or she makes their summer time arrival!
